Lodge Committees A.L.L. Committee (ALL) The Additional Light Committee is charged with seeing that all newly raised Master Masons complete the A.L.L. Program within 60 days of being raised and for reporting to the Membership at a Stated Meeting that the A.L.L exercises have been completed. Further to this, the minutes of said meeting will be read and reflected as such at the following Stated Meeting. The Commit- tee Chairman coordinates with the Lodge Secretary and is responsible for seeing that the Lodge has all the necessary materials easily accessible at all times. Chair Person: Arnie Perez Members: Peter Salonikidis Email: all@tannehill52.org Ambassadors of the Lodge Committee (ALC) This committee is tasked with communicating with the Scottish Rite, Shrine, York Rite Bodies, Eastern Star, Social Order of the Beauciant, the Masters, Wardens, and Secretaries Association of this District, and any other Appended Bodies, including other Lodges. The idea is to accom- modate, coordinate, and disseminate information about Masonic activities originating from within and extending to outside of our Lodge. This Committee is to ensure that Tannehill Lodge No. 52 has a strong and positive relationship with the above mentioned organizations and that we are very well represented within the Fraternity and the Community, locally, nationally and inter- nationally. Members: Herb Garon Jr., P.M.; Leroy Andress, P.M.; Arnie Perez Email: ambassador@tannehill52.org Assistance Committee (AC) This committee is chaired by the Worshipful Master and is responsible for receiving, assessing, and reporting any requests for fraternal assistance from needy brethren of Tannehill Lodge and/or their family members. Requests for said Assistance Reports are given at Stated Meetings and shall include the amount of money, if the need is monetary in nature, and/or what type of assist- ance is requested, and any recommendations as to how the Lodge should assist. Members: Tony Schuman, PM; Ted New, PM; Johnny Plaster, PM Email: assistance@tannehill52.org Candidate Reading Committee (CRC) The chair is Responsible for seeing that each new candidate has their pre-degree reading con- ducted in a timely manner. The spouse(s) may be allowed to attend, if so desired. The purpose of the committee is to ensure that any questions or concerns a candidate may have are addres- sed at this time, and to make the candidate(s) as comfortable as possible! Chair Person: Dale Jolliff Members: Chris Keller Email: reading@tannehill52.org Community Builder Award Committee (CBAC) The Community Builder Award is given to a non-Mason that is a giver of his/her time and devo- tion to the Dallas Community. This person exemplifies the principles of Freemasonry in their hearts and actions towards others in the form of community service through their sweat equity. They do for the people of the city of Dallas that which others don't, i.e., assist the illiterate; feed the hungry; honor the protectors of the this country, the service men and women, and the peace officers of this great city; house the needy; protect the abused; support the arts, music and sciences, and much more....The Worshipful Master chairs this committee and a worthy candidate is selected, interviewed, voted on, and awarded this great Masonic honor. Members: Gary Hill, PM; Chief Greywolf :., PM; Malcolm Shaw, PM Email: community@tannehill52.org Esoteric Instruction Committee (EIC) It is the duty of Esoteric Instruction Committee to ensure the advancement and mastery of the “work” with high proficiency. All ritual study should be conducted on a regular schedule and include the following: a.) Opening/Closing of the Lodge (short & long form); b.) Conferral of all Degrees; c.) Opening/Closing of the Lodge of Sorrow; d.) Reception of the District Deputy Grand Master (D.D.G.M.); e.) Balloting Procedures; f.) Lodge Etiquette & Masonic Protocol; and g.) the Tilers Oath for examining purposes. The Committee is also responsible for ensuring that, at least two Committee on Work Forums are attended, once every six months or twice per year. Additionally exam locations and schedules for the same are disseminated, and finally the com- mittee creates a plan so that any certification goals are met. Email: esoteric@tannehill52.org Family Night Committee (FNC) The Family Night Committee coordinates programs and events that incorporate the Mason’s wife and children, family, and friends of which said events are held every third Monday of the Month. The committee orchestrates the Holiday dinners as well, i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valen- tine’s Day, and so forth. These activities are filled with great fun and knit the families of bro- ther Mason’s closer together. In addition, this committee is an awesome recruiting tool.
