             Finance Committee (FC)
      
The Chairman of this committee is responsible for holding quarterly meetings to review the
       investments of the lodge, compile and give a report to the Lodge at a Stated Meeting(s), and to
       make any recommendations on diversification changes to the investments.  This fiduciary duty
       is shared equally between the chair and the treasurer of the Lodge.  The committee also
       coordinates any and all financial audits and spearheads all interactions with the IRS, and
       assists the Lodge in the compiling of data for the filing of taxes to the same.

              Fund Raising Committee (FRC)
       Fund Raising is a fun Committee responsible for conceptualizing and organizing of at least one
       Fund Raising Event per quarter and for generating no less than $500.00 per event. It is the
       Committee Chair's responsibility to ensure that a.) all events are lawful with respect to Federal,
       State, and Local regulations, as well as Grand Lodge of Texas Law and Tannehill Lodge No. 52 By-
       laws, b.) any Lodge Sponsored event(s) open to the public shall be always mindful of Masonic
       Protocol and represent the Lodge in the most professional manner possible.

              Funeral Services Committee (FSC)
       The Chair Person of this committee is responsible for reporting deaths of the brethren of Tanne-
       hill Lodge No. 52 on a monthly basis, establishing a regular funeral team and the scheduling of
       at least one practice per quarter. The committee is responsible for bringing all necessary mater-
       ials to the services, and sending written condolences and/or flowers where deemed worthy, to
       the family of the deceased brother.

               Greeting Committee (GC)
       The committee is charged with having greeters stationed to meet and assist visitors and mem-
       bers at all Special Events.  This committee is great PR for the lodge.  It is also responsible for
       having a greeter at the back door to meet and assist any potential candidate(s), petitioner(s), or
       visitor(s) when arranged in advance, and are aware the above mentioned are visiting.  It is also
       responsible for providing the proper entrance codes to the gates and back-door.

Golden Trowel Award Committee (GTAC)
      The Golden Trowel Award is the greatest honor a Lodge can bestow on a Past Master of the same.
      It is normally given to a brother who has gone beyond the call of duty in regards to the duties of
      the Lodge; to one that is actively
"living and breathing" on a daily basis the principles of Free-
      masonry; to one who has the best interest of the lodge
"at heart", and lastly to those Past Masters
      who can propel Tannehill Lodge to the next level, beyond that of "
friendship and brotherly love",
      which is to serve the lodge as one would their God, Country, Family, Neighbor, and Oneself.  This
      brother is to exemplify in his aura and persona, that which we receive in our degrees- "
mehr light".
      The Committee consists of the three most junior Past Masters who are
actively involved with the
      proceedings and lively-hood of the Lodge.  They propose and  submit a candidate deserving of the
      same, thus, to be voted on at a stated meeting to receive the greatest honor Tannehill Lodge can
      bestow.

Historians Committee (HC)
     
This committee is primarily responsible for researching any and all historical resources that
       may be available to the Lodge concerning Freemasonry, starting from a global perspective and
       ending by concentrating on the local history of the same.  Together this committee represents
       over 125 years of Masonic history and experience.  The Chair is responsible for handing over to
       the Web Site/ Newsletter/ Multi-Media Committee the  APPROVED information and resources
       for posting on the net, that are consistent with the
Mission-Statement of Tannehill Lodge No. 52.

                 Jurisprudence Committee (JC)
       To the extent possible, this committee is responsible for keeping the Brethren of Tannehill Lodge
       No. 52 lawful.  The Committee Chair is the Junior Warden, who is primarily supported and
       assisted by the many attorneys in the lodge.  While the Lodge is at Work, the Junior Warden
       always reads from the most recent edition of the Grand Lodge Law as well as any official notes
       and the Tannehill Lodge By-Laws.

       If the Committee is asked to reach a determination or resolve legal or protocol matters, any
       disputes, and/or issues which address questions that are not clear by the Book of Constitutions
       of the Grand Lodge of Texas, it will gain access to the Jurisprudence Representatives of the
       same.  The Committee is expected to have an understanding of the proper Grand Lodge of Texas
       channels of procedure.  Key channels might include: the Grand Secretary, Masonic Jurispru-
       dence, Grievances and Appeals, Purposes & Polices, Lodge Assistance Mentor Program (L.A.M.P.)
       and lastly, but not least the Committee on Work.

       The Committee itself is expected to have a firm grasp of the Esoteric Work (Including all Lectures
       and Charges), as well as Masonic Protocol, Lodge By-Laws and at least a general understanding
       of the accepted laws which have historically governed our Fraternity ( i.e., the Ancient Landmarks
       of Our Order, Anderson's Charges, the Lodge Monitor, the Lightfoot Monitor, etc.).  The Com-
       mittee is also responsible for making any recommendations or changes and additions to the
       Lodge By-Laws that are considered to be of importance or of necessity.
